Group Counselling at KUBO Family & Learning provides small, supportive group spaces where participants can connect, reflect, and build practical tools for well-being through shared experience and guided facilitation.

Our group counselling services are:
- Trauma-informed
- Neuro-affirming
- Culturally responsive
- Process-based and relational

Groups are facilitated by registered clinicians and blend gentle psychoeducation, experiential activities, and peer connection. Sessions focus on emotional regulation, co-regulation, self-compassion, boundary setting, and strengthening relational safety, while honoring each participant’s lived experience, identity, and nervous system needs.

Group counselling at KUBO is designed for individuals who are seeking:

- Community and shared understanding
- Emotional support and reflection
- Practical tools for navigating stress and caregiving
- A respectful, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment

Our groups are intentionally kept small to support emotional safety, meaningful participation, and group cohesion. While group counselling can be deeply supportive, it is not intended for crisis intervention or acute mental health care. Participants may be screened to ensure group fit and readiness.

Group counselling may be offered:

- In-person or virtually
- In time-limited pilots or structured series
- In different languages to support accessibility and cultural connection

How to Register:
Book a Group Registration appointment through our booking page. This is not a session time, just a way to submit an intake form. Once reviewed, Dionne Chan will contact you by email to confirm your registration or schedule a brief follow-up call.
